Joe brings over 25 years of expertise in planning, design, and technical development within the luxury housing sector. Having dedicated two decades to Octagon Developments Ltd, he honed his skills in creating exceptional high-end homes before deciding to embark on his own journey, founding Wolsey House.
With a firm belief that the process of planning and design should be as enjoyable as the final result, Joe takes an open, honest, and highly personal approach to every project. His ethos is centred around making the entire experience seamless, inspiring, and collaborative, ensuring that clients remain engaged and excited at every stage of their journey with Wolsey House. By combining his deep industry knowledge with a passion for bespoke design, Joe is committed to bringing his clients’ visions to life, crafting homes that are both beautifully designed
and meticulously planned.
IAN SHOESMITH
Ian began his career in 2002 with a national house builder, where he gained invaluable experience in the construction industry. Seeking to broaden his expertise, he transitioned to a multi-disciplined private company, where he
progressed to managing all aspects of procurement and cost management from initial concept through to project completion.
His portfolio of work is both diverse and prestigious, spanning the meticulous restoration of Grade I and II listed properties in central London to the construction of super-prime mansions in Surrey’s most exclusive estates. Throughout his career, Ian has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the country’s most renowned architects, designers, and cost consultants, ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standard. His meticulous attention to detail, strategic approach, and commitment to excellence have consistently resulted in outstanding
outcomes, reinforcing his reputation as a trusted expert in luxury residential development.
